Another busy Thursday.
From 9 AM onward, people started arriving at the hospital one after another.
The chairs in the hallway were never empty. The consultation room door opened and closed, opened and closed.
Nurses moved between rooms carrying test reports,
and the whole space was filled with a rhythm of nervousness and excitement.
Today is a weekday, but the number of visitors was no less than on a weekend.
They came from all over –
some took the high-speed train from Zhejiang, some flew in from overseas,
and others came from even farther – dragging suitcases, carrying passports, and battling jet lag just to be here.
Some sat quietly in the waiting area flipping through case books.
Some whispered with their best friends about which area they most wanted to improve.
And some had just landed in Shanghai, showing up at our door with their luggage still in hand.
📌 This is a real shot of today's queue waiting for their health check-ups.
📌 This is a moment outside the consultation room, waiting for their number to be called.
Everyone clutched their test forms, lining up for blood draws, blood pressure checks,
and ECGs – going through each step, one by one, moving closer to the change they've been hoping for.
Despite the crowd, everyone was patient. Maybe they all understood – after waiting in line for so long,
isn't this the moment they've been waiting for?
As the camera swept across the room, every face wore a different expression.
Some pressed their lips together nervously. Some scrolled through their phones casually.
Some chatted with a newly made friend nearby, exchanging their own "beauty plans."
But everyone's eyes held the same thing:
Anticipation.
